Mon August 5, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Jack and Diane celebrate their anniversary at home, Heather isn’t thrilled that Lucy is going to the concert without Daniel, and Sharon urges Faith to set some boundaries with Lucy.
Friday’s recap: Cameron terrorized Sharon as Lucy lied her way into a date with Faith, and Victor goaded Billy.

At Sharon’s, she gets distracted as Faith tells her about Lucy and how lonely and desperate she seems.
“Wow, that’s tough,” says Sharon.
Lucy invited Faith to a concert. Her mom is sure that will be fun.
Faith thinks she should cancel and help her pack for her trip.
Playing with her pen, Sharon says she’s doesn’t need the help. She’s fine with her spending time with Lucy.
Faith thinks spending time with someone so young is embarrassing. Plus, she’s really clingy.
Her mom explains that Lucy is at an awkward time and trying to fit in. She’s had sophisticated life experiences.
Faith still finds it “cringy.” Her mom urges her to cut her some slack and just set boundaries.
Faith doesn’t want to miss out on time with her mom before she leaves.
Sharon tells her to go and have fun and feel good about making an awkward young lady feel accepted.
At the GCAC, Lucy babbles to her parents about all the stuff that will be at the concert.
Her mom is surprised to hear that Daniel is not going and wants to get a ticket to go with her.
Lucy begs her mom to relent. Daniel says Faith is trustworthy and they’ll be wearing tracking apps.
Heather still isn’t sold and accuses her daughter of ditching her dad.
Lucy is desperate to make friends and Faith is practically family. Her mom is still concerned.
But she agrees to allow it. Lucy is relieved.
Her mom urges no drinking, smoking, or vaping. What’s okay for Faith is not okay for her.
Excited, Lucy rushes off.
Daniel and Heather get a drink and she worries that Lucy’s fangirling could be getting to be a little much.
He thinks it’s just her age.
He fills her in on his visit to Sharon. He’s tried to making things right and tells her about his idea to create a game to honor Cassie.
She thinks that’s a great idea. He hopes so.
Lucy being so desperate to be friends with Faith makes things more complicated. Part of him hopes that this could unite them all and lessen the pain.
Heather is concerned when she hears that Lucy lied to get Faith into going to the concert.
He adds that she also lied about the pool party.
Heather wonders when this all got so hard. He assures her they will get through this.
She needs some comfort brownies.

Lucy arrives at Sharon’s, happy that Faith agreed to the concert. Faith pops up and they admire each other’s clothes before leaving.
Once Sharon is alone, she notices there is ink all over her palm from the pen she was playing with.
At Crimson Lights, Harrison tells Phyllis and Summer about accidentally eating a bug.
They threaten to tickle him and his grandma tells him never to be afraid to tell people he loves him.
Summer gets a call from Kyle but her mom clicks the decline button.
They draw and talk about the letter M. They send him off to look at the jukebox.
Phyllis commends her on building up her bond with her son for the custody case.
Phyllis tells her what a great mom she is. Summer is glad to hear that since her dad and Daniel have not been so supportive.
Phyllis points out they have been through this and have baggage. She assumes Daniel identifies with Harrison.
Summer gets defensive but her mom insists she wants her to have all the time with her son she can.
Harrison returns and announces that everything is wrong.
Later, Phyllis spots Lucy and Faith getting some coffee and starts chatting with them.
She notices that Lucy keeps playing with her lip.
Sharon comes in and is surprised they aren’t at the concert yet. They take off.
Phyllis accuses Sharon of giving her a look. Sharon admits that Lucy seems to look up to Faith a little too much.
This sets Phyllis off and she tells her how lovely Faith has been to Lucy.
“She’s obviously more sensitive than her mother,” she snipes.
Faith and Lucy arrive at the fairgrounds for the concert. Lucy is eager to mosh.
When Faith goes into the washrooms, Lucy tells herself she has to relax and pulls out a bag of booze.
Diane is startled when she arrives at home and discovers the place is decked out in flowers for a romantic evening.
Jack comes out and pops the bubbly, wishing her a happy anniversary.
After they toast, he admits that Mrs. Martinez helped him prepare things.
She adds that she helped her turn their bedroom into an intimate boudoir.
He looks forward to that, especially with everyone out of the house.
They talk about Traci getting together with Alan and then agree to only focus on themselves tonight.
He wants to celebrate their first year of wedded bliss.
Jack puts on some music and they dance. She can’t believe it’s already been a year.
She wishes time would slow.
He’ll make it his mission to show her how much he loves her.
He never wants this feeling to go away and hands her a gift.
It’s his vows in a frame.
He says they still stand true today. She reads them to him.
When she chokes up, he takes over, telling her she is his love and life.
His whole world opened up again when she said, “I do.” They kiss.
She gives him a gift. The card reminds him of their complicated love over the years.
It says that he is her world and they are perfect together.
Her heart feels like they have been connected since the beginning of time.
When she says it’s sappy, he tells her not to play tough. He loves it. They kiss.
He opens the gift. It’s a bunch of coupons.
He finds one he wants to use upstairs right away.
Summer arrives with Harrison. He needs his lucky bunny and rushes upstairs.
Summer apologizes for interrupting and promises they will be gone in a minute.
It’s nice to see them having a nice time. they talk about her plans to seek sole custody.
She knows Kyle loves his son but senses he loves himself more.
Harrison returns with his bunny. Diane offers him some caviar but he thinks that’s gross.
Once he and his mom leave, Diane hates having to see Harrison less.
Jack tells her they can’t deal with this now and he wants to redeem a coupon.
She leads him up to their love nest.
